SAP.iO Foundary Tokyo - 3i Inc. aims to partner with SAP to tackle the needs of Japan's Industry 4.0 Foundry Tokyo – A cohort program for excellence in innovation

3i Inc. is honored to partake in the 2020 cohort program organized in Tokyo over the next few months.

SAP.iO Foundry is one of the initiatives of SAP.iO, a global start-up program for SAP, that supports excellent startups outside SAP. It operates in eight cities around the world, and each city runs a cohort program twice a year. In Tokyo, the first cohort program was launched in 2019 as a “practical” accelerator program. The objective is to answer the transformation needs of the Japanese industry and promote co-creation approaches with startups.

Focused on Industry 4.0, SAP.iO Tokyo Foundry will provide participants with mentorship from SAP product specialists and key sales professionals. In addition, SAP will conduct numerous workshops on business strategy, sales and marketing to share valuable insights. Also, through API integration, 3i Inc. will partner with SAP enterprise solutions to jointly address SAP customers’ issues.

Solving modern problems through software integration

3i Inc. is an innovative startup always focused on developing collaboration with its customers. The company pledged to bring the most accessible answer to growing demands. Therefore, 3i Inc. developed 3i INSITE. This solution allows anyone to digitize industrial indoor spaces and create a 3D view. In addition, the solution uses its own AI-based image processing technology. 3i Inc. aims to solve modern issues regarding documentation, collaboration and site survey in Facility Management and Construction.

We are excited to take part in the next SAP cohort program. 3i Inc. welcomes the opportunity to learn greatly from the business know-how that SAP has cultivated over the years. We believe that our solution brings a solution to modern challenges that our society is facing right now. We are talking about issues such as social distancing due to coronavirus but also declining workforce and transitioning from individual data overload to collective intelligence.”

Ken Kim, CEO of 3i Inc., calls major industrial players to fight against recent developments in the COVID-19 virus. He believes it can be done by implementing disruptive solutions for remote collaboration such as 3i INSITE.
